I recently had the opportunity to visit the showroom of one of my favorite designers, Tim Hamilton. Having been present at his presentation back in September, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that he’d collaborated with New York-based conceptual artist Seth Price to line the inside of his garments with a repetitive pattern that mimics the inside of a financial envelope. And while Hamilton wasn’t overly pushy or too in-your-face with his agenda, I do appreciate the fact that this collection, which was made in Japan, actually makes a statement (unlike many of the others we’ve seen walk the runway).

A different perspective on menswear.
